Educational Media
In 1998, I started my career in the field of educational media and training development while working as a contractor for Saudi Arabia's ARAMCO. During my time there, I produced many different training films in a variety of places; my tasks could find me in a desert, out to sea on an oil platform, shooting from a helicopter, and many other settings. Having worked in these environments, I have since transferred this experience to my current position as manager to understand the challenges that my team faces first-hand. The safety of my employees is always my top concern, as the various work locations can be hostile, be it underwater, in the air, working with and around live ammunition, large machinery, tall structures, toxic substances or just the dangers of extreme weather. I ensure that my staff is properly protected, trained, knowledgeable and secure in their surroundings before assigning any task.
I have produced multilingual content and/or managed creative teams that specialize in a diverse array of educational content in the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Unfortunately due to the proprietary and sensitive nature of the content, national security, and international law I am unable to give specific examples of work produced while working for large corporations, domestic and foreign military.
I currently hold a Secret Security Clearance for the United States of America and abide by all ITAR guidelines while giving training support.
